Rembetiko festival
Skopelos has a long history in music field and has breed great artists. The musical identity of the island was formed by “rebetiko”, with the rhythms of which many generations have grown on the island and keep this magnificent kind of music alive. Every year, in the middle of July, a two-day festival is dedicated to the rebetiko with the participation of numerous famous musicians offering to the audience magical summer nights.
