Rembetiko festival
Skopelos has a long history in music field and has breed great artists. The musical identity of the island was formed by “rebetiko”, with the rhythms of which many generations have grown on the island and keep this magnificent kind of music alive. Every year, in the middle of July, a four-day festival is dedicated to the rebetiko with the participation of numerous famous musicians offering to the audience magical summer nights.
Following the great success of last year’s first post-pandemic festival, the 8th festival of “Days of Rebetiko” will be held on Skopelos from 7/7/2026 to 10/7/2026, by the Cultural and Folklore Association and with the cooperation and support of the Municipality of Skopelos.
We invite you all to the place where the heart of Rebetiko pulsates: Skopelos, Sporades.
